As a former Pleasanton Middle School student and member of the GSA club, the GSA was very important to me. This club provided a constant safe space for me and many other students. I know it was also effective at educating students about LGBT issues. Overall the GSA was a really fun experience and the teachers there were some of the most kind and helpful people I've ever met.
